As KFI continues to improve and expand its supports for people with disabilities, the need for high quality leadership grows. There is an immediate opening for a “Support Coordinator” based out of the Bangor office. Part of the agency’s leadership team, this position is responsible for the development and coordination of home, work and community supports for people with developmental disabilities in the greater Bangor area and the supervision of their staff.
Responsibilities include: Case management for persons receiving per diem Supported Living services and supervision of their staff; implementation of person-centered planning process and related documentation; liaison with families, guardians, state agency service coordinators and community case managers.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess at minimum a High School diploma and prior experience working with adults with developmental disabilities; preference given to candidates with post-secondary education, supervisory experience and familiarity with the community of Bangor; exemplary writing, communication, interpersonal skills desired.
