Alley’s Recycling Reaches a Milestone

Maine Disability Rights Center Honors KFI

Maine’s Protection and Advocacy agency, the Disability Rights Center, honored KFI as their “Business of the Year”. Representatives from KFI’s Board, staff, and individuals supported attended the DRC’s annual meeting in Freeport and received the award which recognized KFI “for its exemplary work and for improving the lives of Maine citizens with disabilities.”

KFI Involved in State and National Employment First Efforts

The Employment First Maine Act would require that state agencies that provide or fund services and supports to persons with disabilities shall provide, as the first and priority service option, integrated, community-based and/or customized employment as a core component of the service delivery system.
